I love this plugin! Great work! However, would it be possible to add a setting that allows this plugin to replace/overwrite the Soundtrack tab in the quick access menu?

Hey, I installed https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.mastermindzh.tidal-hifi on my Deck.
Even after enabling MPRIS in its integration settings, it's not found by MusicControl. Why?

playing any kind of content in both spotify (flatpak) and google chrome (flatpak) doesn't show up in this plugin, the plugin show no available players

Not all user IDs are the same, some people have begun to add other user accounts (they have different IDs). Perhaps updating code to reflect the correct ID dynamically instead of assuming 1000 might be best.

I just realized you can connect your phone to your steamdeck and play the music from your phone on the steamdeck. If you would have the ability to control the music player on your phone with the plugin, that would be really nice.

I tested nuclear-js with this plugin but it does not seem to work correctly

I don't know if this plugin is the right place to implement this, and let me know if it isn't. I would like to use my media shortcuts on my keyboard or Bluetooth headphones to play/pause and skip forwards and backwards.

Trying to load the menu after this update completely breaks the Decky interface and forces a restart of Steam, or even a hard reboot.

Please fix it soon :)

As the issue title suggests, I think it'd be neat if we could launch our media players (e.g. Spotify) from directly within MusicControl.

It's a little clunky at the moment, having to first open Spotify from the Steam interface and then close it just to be able to control it via MusicControl. I am not sure if it's possible to have MusicControl open a media player in the background without taking the user away from whatever application they're currently in.

At any rate, I really love what you've done here, so if it stays in its current state, I'll be just fine!

More information in-app would be nice to display, such as “supported players/protocols: ...”. I prefer Rhythmbox non-flatcrap (I hate sandboxing), myself.
