cnetScraper

cnetScraper is a web app that lets users view the latest news from CNET.COM. The app uses Mongoose and Cheerio to scrape news from CNET.COM.

Deployed Website:

Functions Under Construction Include:

  • The buttons that save the articles still require functionailty.
  • The "Scrape New Articles" button needs functionailty to refresh and populate a fresh set of 10 articles.
  • The article links need to redirect the user to the actual article.
  • The "Saved Articles" button should direct the user to the saved articles page displaying all the articles that have been saved.
  • The "Clear Articles" button should clear all the articles that have been scraped from the page.
