rpi-phat-thermocouple's Issues

what sort of connectors for thermocouple cables?

I'm wondering what you're using to connect the thermocouple wires to the PCB? The space looks pretty tight given the components on the top side of the board. Do you have some terminal block arrangement in mind? Or are these intended for 2.54mm pitch pin headers, with some sort of connector body and pins on the end of the thermocouple cable? If you're using some solution that you're happy with, I'd love to avoid inventing my own flat-tire solution.

I'm planning to replicate your project as I have need for some thermocouple sensors. I'm planning to integrate it with the RPi Zero inside my Generac generator to measure various temperatures, including oil temperature, probably the body of the generator, motor and/or air exhaust from the enclosure of the air-cooled engine. Obviously, some of these are beyond the 18B20 solutions.

(FYI, planning to use this in concert with genmon https://github.com/jgyates/genmon that I've had in service for about a year now..)
