9x-telemetrez's Issues

Automatic oscillator calibration

What version of the product are you currently using?
Beta

What revision firmware are you currently using?
25

Please provide any additional information below. What you want it to do.
Would like the oscillator to be calibrated. This will reduce the chance for
error when sending the data to/from the 9x or Frsky module. The TelemetrEZ
processor on the beta board is only accurate to 10%. RS232 (like) signals
should be within 2% to be reliable.

Detect if the connectors are plugged in the wrong way.

What version of the product are you currently using?
1.0

What revision firmware are you currently using?
v60

Please provide any additional information below. What you want it to do.
If the connectors are not properly plugged in, the led should blink. The 5-pin
and 12-pin connectors can be swapped on the board. The original 9x connectors
should connect to the board edges, or the 90 degree connectors. The new
connectors that came with the Tez should plug into the middle connectors, or
the ones that stand straight up from the board.
Also it would be nice to verify that communications is working like it should
between the Tez, Frsky, and 9x.

Rotary encoder support

What version of the product are you currently using?

What revision firmware are you currently using?

Please provide any additional information below. What you want it to do.

Take a rotary encoder as an input, and pass that information to Er9x.
I think this can be done by attaching encoder A terminal to IO13 and encoder B
terminal to IO15. The additional switch can use IO11.
What would be sent to Er9x is 1 additional byte. The LSB would be the switch
from the rotary encoder. Then when left shifted 1 bit the remaining would be a
signed number indicating encoder movement.
