windows-appconsult-tools-iapwrapper's Introduction

Update

Add IAPUWPDLL UWP Plugin to enable Unity UWP built to call IAP. For details, refer to IAPUWPDLL/readme

IAPShow is the Unity project, now with IAPUWPDLL and IAPWraper, Win Store IAP call works in below Unity built/running mode:

Unity Editor

Win32

UWP

IAPWRAPPER

Desktop Bridge helps developers gradually migrate traditional apps to the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). The In-App Purchase (IAP) in Windows Store is an important scenario to monetize the converted apps. When working with developers on this scenario, I notice certain obstacles are in common, for example:

a. Porting old .Net or unmanaged applications to use the IAP UWP APIs.

b. Didn’t use async calls properly in UI apps and caused hang/deadlock

c. Default purchase windows failed to popup

d. Need accurate guide to follow IAP testing with current Windows Store APIs

Here I would like to explain a general solution to solve above issues, and also show four samples to use the IAPWrapper quickly:

a. WinForm in old .Net version

b. WPF app

c. Win32 App in C++

d. Unity App in old .Net version

Can't get Debug or Trace WriteLine to show in DebugView

This is great package that I'm using in my win32 app for store. However, I want to insert my own debug messages to view them in DebugView or DebugView++. I want to see them even when it is being used in installed app and not in Visual Studio. I have tried WriteLine with both Debug and Trace and I don't see anything. Please help.

Win32 converted with Desktop Bridge purchase failed.

Hi, I tried this project and always got "Purchase Finished with status NotPurchased" after binded with my app id on Store and converted with Desktop Bridge , the purchase dialog dose not show up.

I have created tow minimal projects to reproduce the problem.
You can download from github https://github.com/bvp898/UWP_DesktopBridge_Purchase.git
The shared code Store.cs is copied from microsoft's document.

Project Purchase_UWP is a UWP project, work fine.
Project Purchase_NetDestop is a Win32 project, converted with Desktop Bridge. It always return "The purchase did not complete. The customer may have cancelled the purchase. ExtendedError: ", and the purchase dialog dose not show up.

Please help me with the problem, I need to add purchase for subscription in Win32 app.
