TM File Parser

This repo contains code for the parser to extract data from .tm7 and .tb7 files.

The repo contains two projects

  • TMFileParser
  • TMFileConverter

TMFileParser

TMFileParser is .NET core (Currently .NET core 5.0) class library published as a nuget package. The NuGet package can be consumed from NuGet.org .

TMFileConverter

TMFileParser is cross-platform .NET core console application that can be used to extract data from .tm7 and .tb7 files.

  • Support to convert to JSON.
  • Support to convert all the data in .tm7 and .tb7 files or get specific data like Data Flows.

Instructions

Download the OS specific binaries (Windows, Mac OS, Linux). Extract TMFileConverter.zip. Navigate TMFileConverter from the command prompt or terminal and invoke 'TMFileConverter.exe' or 'TMFileConverter'.

Options:
	-i, --input-path <input-path> (REQUIRED)      Input tm7 file path.
	-s, --save-format <save-format> (REQUIRED)    Output file format to convert.
	-o, --output-path <output-path> (REQUIRED)    Path to store output.
	-g, --get <get> (REQUIRED)                    Data to be retieved.
	--version                                     Display version information

Supported Save Formats:
	json

Supported Get Options:
	raw
	all											
	boundaries
	assets
	connectors
	threats

OS Specific Binaries

The README.md specifies that there are OS specific binaries that are available but they aren't published with the release tags. I can compile this myself but wondered if that was on the roadmap.
