Hi @c-w,
Good catch! Actually we are also in an intermediate state of migrating from this hand-written version SDK to the auto-generated AutoREST SDK which is the azure.cognitiveservices.vision.face you mentioned. The AutoREST SDK will be the future but not mature enough currently which means breaking changes might happen. So it is still hard to say which one is preferred. This SDK will keep upgrade with the API service in the near future, and when the AutoREST SDK is mature enough, we will officially announce that this version will be deprecated and will encourage to use the AutoREST version instead. Will this answer your question?
