Hi Mark,

Sorry to bother you with a stupid question. I can't understand the operation of line 326 ( _i2c->write(Si114x::ALS_VIS_DATA0);) in the file (Si114.h). Basically we are writing to a register ALS_VIS_DATA0, then how come it is able to give results of all the four other registers namely ALS_VIS_DATA0, ALS_VIS_DATA1, ALS_IR_DATA0 and ALS_IR_DATA1? Do all of them inter related?

Wire.begin() gets called at instantiation, which doesn't work. That call needs to get moved into the initialisation script otherwise Wire won't behave

Could you please advise me how to change the gain of the Si1143?
