The searchbar overlaps the icons on portrait and in landscape it cuts when the row and columns are set to max.

When I clicked it open edit folder title dialog

When I clicked it showed uninstall dialog

I am using android 6.0.1 and DPI is 220

For those of us that don't use the Google app (or have it uninstalled), we really need a way to search other engines (like DuckDuckGo or similar)

After disabling the persistent search bar, the desktop icons disappear, long-pressing the desktop stops working, and long-pressing the dock crashes the app.

The chevron/arrow above the dock disappears when the page indicator is set to nothing.

When I receive a message in the status bar and open then it remains on the shortcut, even after reading!!!
And thanks for the launcher, I bought the pro version. I'm using the x86 processor and android 6. I'll wait for fixing the bugs because I like the launcher. Thank you.

On Flick Launcher, I have Amphetamine Icon pack, and since its newer, very few icons are themed. This would be fine, but icons that are not themed have an odd white circle around them, even though I didn't apply an icon mask. I know it's a bug because newly installed apps without an icon theme are actually fine and don't have the circle

Flick launcher has inbuilt app lock feature. But the app lock can be easy break by using these methods.

1, by installing a new launcher.
2, by uninstalling flick launcher
3, by force stopping flick launcher
4, by clearing app data of flick launcher

When you enable blur on s8 , the dock has a line unblurred at the bottom and you will see the wallpaper...

I have installed 70 to 80 apps on my phone.
My app drawer settings is 5 x 5. When i scroll down and up the app drawer is laging.

Unread Notification count is not showing in app icon.
Checked message, gmail, alto mail , whatsapp , phone but not showing unread count.

My Phone : moto x play

The app shortcuts is invalid when app is placed in a folder. I think it will be better to add the feature.
Could you please put it into your plan?

When I add a shortcut from opera to home screen and longclick on that shortcut the launcher crashes.

I'm the creator of CandyBar dashboard for icon pack. It will be very helpful if user able to apply icon pack directly from the dashboard without opening Flick Launcher settings.

Something like Aviate launcher has (Scroll to bottom)

Or like Nova launcher has

Which will open a dialog ask if user want to apply the icon pack or directly apply the icon pack.

It seems like the "allow circular icons" setting makes all icons very small, it's not good for a "first impression". Make it opt-in?

I might just be missing it, but if it is not there it would be great to be able to turn off the recently used apps at the top of the app draw.

How can I remove it?
Perviously unticking the persistent search bar option in settings did it.

The alphabet on the fast scroll bar can't be viewed.

My settings:-
Background color - black
transparency level - 45%
Text color - white

Possible solutions :-
Options to change the color of fast scroll bar or automatically change the color of fast scroll bar according to the color of drawer text color (means both the drawer text color and fast scroll text color should be different)

While we receive notification [eg- from whatsapp or message ] we click on notification which opens the app , instead of the fingerprint prompt, it works only in the launcher.

I have a folder full of favorite contacts on my home screen. When I try to select one of them, Flick Launcher crashes and I get the recent apps overview.

I found that app icons can be put on widgets as in they can overlap widgets. They also get hidden by widgets sometimes.

first off I want to say major kudos for making this launcher open source! when I run it on my android tablet it does not show the settings icon when you hold down on the home screen my tablet is running android 6.0.1 I look forward to seeing this launcher grow!

Can you add a hide apps feature so we can hide them from appearing in app drawer?

I cant lock apps in my moto g4 plus, I select the apps to lock but when I open the app it opens normal

My phone has the volume locked to 0. When I try to up with the volume up button the system show the volume bar, but nothing happens.

I can move the slider with the finger, but the volume don't work, and when i press the VolumeUp button the slider goes back to 0.

My phone is Ok, I uninstalled the Flick launcher and the volume just worked again.

I normally have 5 pages with the centre one being my home screen. On Flick is there any way to do this - or does the home page have to be the left screen?

The translation into Spanish requires improvement. There are many untranslated strings, and other strings can be translated better. I'm Spanish native and I offer to collaborate with the Spanish translation of Flick Launcher. I have already collaborated in the translation of Nova, Lawnchair, Evie and Action Launcher, so it is not a new activity for me.

I see this launcher doesn't support Android O. Please update it to be able to handle shortcuts :

Currently, the launcher cannot create a shortcut on Android O from a third party app.
Not by itself, not from Play Store, and not from third party apps.

And, to make this app special and above others, please consider the next features for it:

1. allow to choose if we wish to put adaptive icons or normal ones
2. allow to trust apps that requested the creation, including a list of trusted apps. The list (which is empty by default and the user can customize) will allow those apps to create shortcuts in the background. Apps that aren't on the list will cause a dialog to be shown, just like on Pixel Launcher.
3. Allow to choose if we want to put the tiny icon (at the corner of the app icon) of the app that requested to create it. On Pixel Launcher it is shown by default and you can't change it.
4. In case of multiple requests of shortcuts, allow to have a single dialog that shows a list of them, allowing to accept creation of all, none, or specific ones.
5. Add option to always update the app icon upon app-update. The reason I ask for this, is that the new API doesn't allow to do it, if I as a developer choose to create a shortcut to another app. Only available options for me are having a resource of my own for the image, or choose a Bitmap object, which has its own content.

When I long press on a app, it brings up a list. But there is no way to get rid of this list without tapping on a app.

This doesn't do anything on my phone....Just relaunches the home screen.

For instance, set your dock's bg color to transparent, and say your app drawer bg is white. Now you start opening the app drawer, and instantly the bg color changes to 25% opacity white. Same goes the other way around; You lock your app drawer, once the drawer is completely closed, the dock bg "jumps" to transparent.

I think gestures shouldn't be executed when performed over widgets like in most launchers.
At least not any basic gesture like swipe or double tap.

I cannot use any scrollable widget while I have swipe up/down gestures active.

It will be great if you make an option to create folders inside App Drawer. Currently folder creation is possible only on home screen.

No matter how you install an app (play store, APK, adb...), it would auto-create a new app-shortcut to it.

The feature will of course be disabled by default, and we would be able to enable it in the settings.

It will be great if you add text on the search box . Normally for 1st time user they won't notice there is a search box. And I think the original pixel launcher have text on the search box .

Like the shelf on oneplus, or like the google now page on google now launcher, or the widget page on action launcher 3 or the page on HTC launchers, it might be useful to the people that use widgets.

OnePlus launcher like widget page might be great, what do you think?

When folder is renamed from edit dialog it gets renamed to previous name on restart of launcher.

See 2 signal bars in white color and other all are in black color

I disabled the persistent search bar to have more room on my home screen, but ended up wanting it back. Tried to Re-Enable persistent search bar, and the launcher restarts without adding it back to the homescreen.

With the last update to 152 the function to hide apps improved. But at least there are a few apps which cant be hidden. And in the opposite there are also (in my case) at least one app which is hidden without that i marked it at hidden.
I think you are working on it. So take it just as a feedback. I'm not complaining.
By the way the option to turn off the page indicator is gone with the last update.

Since the last update (Alpha 124), Everytime the home button is used to go to the home screen audio playback is paused (tested with Spotify and pocketcast) and the volume is set to zero

Text is white on white. Same happens for all the nested menus.
