When we want to input a negative number in the 'add' command we have to add double dash (--) before.
Can be more intuitive to simply enter negative number without it.

Add the possibility to add a merchant on the transaction.

• add -m to the command 'add'
• store the merchant in the database
• display merchant on 'list' command

Adding transaction into database take more and more time.
This is normal because each time we load the entire file in memory, add the transaction and write it back on disk.

Solution:

• using a real Database :) , like sqlite or surrealdb

Allow user to remove a transaction from the database by id.

Add the possibility to add a description on the transaction.

• add -n or -d to the command 'add'
• store the description in the database
• display description on 'list' command

It's possible to enter a number with more than 2 decimal.
We have to prevent this if we want to keep accuracy.

header of table for summary and list are off.
I think it's because tabwriter counts the characters used for colorization.

Solution:

• using colored in the header
• post issue on tabwriter

Add an account section in summary.

Add a simple 'summary' command that display balance of income/outcome all transactions

Allow to assign an account to a transaction.

It will be more easy to read if it has color:
negative number in red
positive number in green

We can use colored crate.

Add the possibility to add a tag/category on the transaction.

• add -t to the command 'add'
• store the tag in the database
• display tag on 'list' command
