First off, I LOVE the project. Having a bill of only $20 / month for 1GB of data by switching to data-only is the best. I use the SMS app every day.

Couple of questions!

Encryption, any plans / what exactly can you see on your-end?

In regards to hosting on OpenShift, do you use Kubernetes / OpenShift artifacts or do you host it simply with the OpenShift source-to-build way?

Enabling TLS on production web servers is a pretty standard practice.

letsencrypt.com offers free ssl certs that will automatically renew if using their protocol.

I guess the only issue would be needing a DNS entry that points to the openshift app, from what I gather you most likely already own a domain. Adding a subdomain wouldn't be too bad ;)

Not sure if this is necessary to support multiple devices...

First up, thanks for your work, this app looks great, just what I was looking for. Just tried to set up a server myself and noticed that there's no SQL script present in the project to create the tables needed for the server database.

After realizing this goes over GCM anyways, I probably won't bother with the custom server, but just something I thought you might want to know.
