A project that contains many of the popular independent fonts available on the web. The majority of fonts have been found on 1001 Free Fonts, Font Squirrel and Da Font.

Many of these fonts are free for personal use but must be purchase through a license for commerical use through the many popular distribution website (for instance: MyFonts) or through the designers personal website.

Most of the fonts in the collection use the SIL Open Font License, v1.1. Some fonts use the Apache 2 license. The Ubuntu fonts use the Ubuntu Font License v1.0.

The SIL Open Font License has an option for copyright holders to include a Reserved Font Name requirement, please take care of this important detail.

Finally some fonts are completely free.
