Hi. i hope you have a good day. we are currently using your application ScanAppForWeb in our project. lately we have buy this scanner: canon DR-M260
.
And now we have this error

can you help us to fix this error

I need a few changes in the Scan_App_SetUp.msi app (default resolution 200 DPI, with no dropdown, Depth always RGB, etc.)
Where can I find the source code? Can I contact you in private if you can help me?

Unable to scan a document with below configuration

Scanner -> remote PC -> citirx -> scan workstation.

In this configuration, while running ScanApp, able to select scanner also, load capabilities. After clicking start scan, twain state changed to 5 and stops. After start of scan, only way to stop is to kill scanapp from task manager.

OS - Win10 on both remote pc as well as scan workstation
.Net framework 4.5.2

Potential issues:

1. twain state do not change to 6 (Transfer ready
2. ScanApp goes into hung state

When the scan dialog is behind the browser window there's no way to know that it's open already. Pressing the scan button in the browser does nothing and the only way to know if it's already open is to minimize the browser window and see if it's hidden behind it.

Is it possible to either keep the scan dialog on the top at all times or to have it pop into the forefront when you press the scan button in chrome or any other browser?

I have tried with current msi setup which is working fine except two step process.. Can anyone provide new msi with default values (scanned image resolution, dpi, size) or passing values through javasacript..

I am basically java background developer.. please need your assistance..

Application was working fine for few days. But suddenly Application stopped working. When I click scan button scanner window pops up and after clicking start scan an other popup shows a progress and that's all no message has been received in browser. I know the issue is on my side since the application was working fine few days back. I request the following.

1. is it possible to open source the Windows Application too.
2. send the error through socket we something irrelevant happens.

Thank you for this software it's a great tool.
Is there's plan to add option to send pdf instead of images.

Hi Team!
When the scanner is not plugged-in the error message is getting popped up like this:

This message is getting invoked when source is getting opened using method src.Open();
We want to override this message with our own dialogue box.

But, we are not able to hide this message. Is it possible to override this message?
Any help is much appreciated.

I have implemented this a webpage with scan button, whenever I click on the webpage scan button it opens a dialogue with button start scan and after clicking on start scan scanner is started and scanning the page. is there is anyway whenever I click on the webpage itself scan button scanner should start scanning the page.

When I downloaded the file with a capacity of 34.1 MB and I couldn't extract it because it was corrupt, and I downloaded it again and tried it but it still didn't work.

Will this scan function work with an angular js application?

i can't change the document size before scanning. my scanner is brother ads-1100 w. there are no options for changing the size! how to set the default page size (etc. a4, folio) before scan? because my document is in folio, but the result is in a4. and of course the document was cut off

I am able to download, build and run the application but when i click on scan button, required scan pop up open but all dropdowns were empty as well as start and stop scans button also disabled. Pls find below image for same.

I'm testing this on a windows 7 machine and the scanner works fine but when i select the scanner, it stopped working by showing this error
System.AccessViolationException HResult=0x80004003 Message=Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. Source=<Cannot evaluate the exception source> StackTrace: <Cannot evaluate the exception stack trace>
I tried turning off the firewall and Microsoft essentials but didn't change anything.
Any idea?

Can I use your app for commercial use? I write a web-scan app for office where I work.

Followed the Readme.md instructions:

• Installed the App on windows 10, using the scan_app_setup/Release/setup.exe
• added the HTML to the file.

Expected result - scan images with the app when clicking Scan

Actual result:

• the app dialog window allows to open the menu "Select Source" and click one of the options.
• after that, the menu is closed, and the App is just freezing there, doing nothing. Non-clickable, non-closeable (have to kill it in Task Manager)

P.S. Just for notice, all is working properly with Dynamsoft commercial app.

I was choice duplicate, but only one image show on screen.

Added itens on menu

Possibility to change default port 8181 to any

Show message when have problem on activate websocket

Persist this configuration (\Scanner4WEB\configuration.db)

Updated dependencies (NTwain, etc)

Next I will do:

• Relayout of demo site;
• Recreate the installer with InnoSetup because the Scan_App_SetUp.vdproj is not working in Visual Studio Community 2019;
• Maybe create the same for others OS (macOS and Ubuntu Linux).

We want to invoke the scanning process through our own UI button.
Is there a possible way to start the scanning functionality without displaying the window form?

Any help would be much appreciated.

In my office there are 3 scanners. When I click select source it only shows the one I am connected with cable. I suspect it doesn't detect wireless scanners.

So you mentioned in the Readme that ScanAppForWeb supports PHP appplication. Please could you give more info on that? What's the procedure for using the tool to scan for images and then upload them to a local server using PHP? Thanks
