File Syncing with encryption and compression for the cloud with local folders and WebDAV backends. Based on JFileSync - hence the name. Additional compatibility with EncFS volumes
Just wondering if it's possible to use with an open-sourced alternative in place Boxcryptor? Cryptomator perhaps?
Been looking for a sync alternative like this for a while but encryption is important to many and a lot of critique will result from Boxcryptor I feel since they aren't open-sourced. If there is already a way to incorporate this with Cryptomator or another open-sourced encryption method please let me know! Thanks!
Thank you for your improvement of JFileSync.
It would be nice if JFileSync3 supports a option to move files to be overwritten or deleted during the directory synchronization into a individual directory selected in sync profile as backup.
I prefer to keep many generations of backup files as history, then delete manually later.
Depending on your system setup, the location where JFileSync3 stores its default configuration file and history data ($HOME/.jfs3/) might be not the place to store e.g. access passwords unencryption.
It should be possible or even default, to store profile data in trusted, configurable places or to encrypt the profiles with the confidential data with reasonable means.
