Meteor sign up and sign in templates styled for Twitter Bootstrap

I just posted a question on Stackoverflow and the answer showed a weird behavior:
"Its a bit weird but it looks like while Meteor is unminified it blocks anything with facebook or twitter in its url such as the facebook/twitter packages' js code."
PS. I am not sure if this is the right place to report this.
are there any hooks for on signin error so I could animate the form with a shake?
Hello.
I've tried to migrate my app to newer meteor version via mrt migrate-app
command, but it failed with message:
The version 0.0.28 of package accounts-templates-bootstrap has not yet been migrated
Does this package support meteor >=0.9.X? I've read issues in accounts-templates-core and it seems support new meteor version, so what about this package?
PS: I've tried to add it via meteor add splendido:accounts-templates-bootstrap
, but it couldn't find such package.
After receiving the password reset link by email, I click it to land at the password reset page. After filling the two identical passwords and pressing the "Set Password" button the page got stuck with elements disabled.
I tried to find the docs for where/how I should customize this button behavior (not sure if I need to do it) so that I end up calling Accounts.resetPassword, I simply couldn't find it.
Now when I am typing password (again), it keeps saying Passwords don't match
even after finish typing an exact copy of first password.
The create button does not block and I am able to create the user. But the does not match
warning stays.
How could I fix this?
I ran into this error when updating to 1.0:

Any ideas what could be causing it? Thanks.
I'm trying user this package for do a very handsome signin form, but it's not easy do this.

It's obvius that at-form class haven any style, or, it's missing.
When i singin in the account the modal background doesn't go:
And when i do sign out, appears the modal form, that's bacause my code:
I think that the better standard boostrap signup form have to be the modal form, account-ui default form it's a popup , then...
There is a problem with the button in the navbar.
In the boilerplates, the navbar is created with
<nav class="navbar navbar-default navbar-static-top" role="navigation">
<div class=container>
<div class="container-fluid">
however, there should only be one element having either container
or container-fluid
(see https://github.com/meteor-useraccounts/boilerplates/blob/master/bootstrap-famous/client/nav.html).
If you don't use two elements with container, the navbar-btn
will be placed too far to the right and not align with the rest of the layout. See
If you, however, use two elements with container class, the alignment in the left will be incorrect.

Hi,
Is there any way to hide social buttons from the signup form?

My app is created using Angular and Bootstrap. How can I use useraccounts:bootstrap
if the app is running on Angular?
This might be because of a number of helper waiting on AccountsTemplates.ready()
Is there a forgot password link in this package? I can't seem to find one.
Edit: It looks like this line contains a reference to a boolean toggle to render the link, but I can't seem to find where this is set.
It should be simple as it requires only to compare if password_again
match with password
.
But how to get the password
the user just typed?
I get worried when I come across repos that have the words "Warning!" in them. It's just a gut reaction, but it colors the way I think of the package.
Given what you are describing under the Warning heading, you might consider to replace it with something like "Bring Your Own Bootstrap." Then, the heading conveys what you want the reader to know and the paragraph expands on what you mean.
Is there a way to add a class to the form tag by any chance? Sorry, wasn't sure if this should be in this repo or in core.
Hi Luca, I'm creating a signup form and trying to get the date of birth and gender fields to appear inline but so far my efforts have yielded nothing. Can you throw some light on how to go about doing this with the bootstrap install.
any easyish way to make this work as a modal form?
On SignUp form, I would say that a better approach when configuring AccountsTemplates with confirmPassword: true is to check if Password (Again) matches Password, instead of applying same regex or function validation and just getting the "Passwords don't match" error when submiting form.
Hi...I'm implementing a custom template for my app and using aldeed form extension plugin to replace the native atForm template however, does this mean that I would have to implement form validation and everything else {{> atForm}} is suppose to take care of? I've tried using AccountsTemplates.addFields but this doesn't seem to work. Your thoughts would be richly appreciated. Thanks
Bootstrap recently released beta 3 and is slated to release 4.0.0 in a few weeks without any breaking changes between the two. Now that the bootstrap 4 API is stable it would be helpful to have this package updated.
I have added a first and last name as custom fields on user sign up but how can I access the value
options.profile.firstName = user.firstName;
Isn't working I'm sure I'm missing something
This isn't really much of an actual issue, though I've recently stumbled upon this package and I was wondering if there was any way to modify the Sign In / Sign Up templates. For instance, add Bootstrap's inputgroups to generated fields. I tried dabblign with the package, but I'm relatively new to Meteor and I didn't manage to find anything useful within my main meteor directory.
I'd link to be able to include HTML in the display names fields so that I can include additional styled information in span elements. eg.
Full name You full name is require so that we can...
To do that we need the fields to be enclosed in three-curly-bracket moustaches. That is,
{{displayName}}
should be
{{{displayName}}}
This should be a backwards compatible change.
When I add useraccounts:bootstrap to my project, I get the following error...
Error: Can't find npm module 'request'. Did you forget to call 'Npm.depends' in package.js within the 'http' package?
Why is this happening?
I would like to use this with React and Meteor (1.3). I have tried let AtForm = BlazeToReact('atForm')
and it does not work. Any suggestions on how to use this package from a React-router / React front-end perspective?
Thanks!
I may have missed something really obvious, but when using the bootstrap package my forms and buttons don't have the classes attached to them. Either I'm missing something, or need to know how to add the classes directly to them.
Thanks guys, this is a really useful package!
I added bootstrap to telescope with some custom mixins

Hi! I forked the project so I could edit the classes for the signin button. For example, I'd like to change btn-default
to btn-primary
. But when I search the repo, I don't find a single result for btn-default
. How is that getting applied if it's not in the repo?
Cheers!

I am a novice on Meteor. I am using following accounts packages -
Now, I am using {{atForm}}. I am configuring AccountsTemplates to show Google reCaptha on SignIn form. I got site and secret keys and set those up in my app. I am getting reCaptha on SignUp form but not on SignIn form. I need just opposite to it.
Please help. Thanks in advance!
Forgot password form has no return link to previous signIn form, so user need to refresh page.
Also I've searched and found that there is {{#if showSignUpLink}} condition that is used in forgetPassword form to show signUp link, but it always return false: https://github.com/splendido/accounts-templates-core/blob/master/lib/atForm.js#L105.
Hello,
I am trying to load form inside a modal based on session variable, but once the modal is shown with corresponding form I am not able to navigate between each other any more. i.e. when I open signIn state I can't click on Register link inside modal and vice versa.
<template name="login">
<div class="modal fade">
<div class="modal-dialog">
<div class="modal-content">
<div class="modal-body">
<div id="login" class="form-signin">
{{> atForm state=state}}
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</template>
Template.login.helpers
state: ->
return Session.get 'templateState' or 'signUp'
Template.navbar.events
'click .sign-in': (e, t) ->
Session.set 'templateState', 'signIn'
Modal.show 'login'
'click .sign-up': (e, t) ->
Session.set 'templateState', 'signUp'
Modal.show 'login'
Any suggestions?
Its because somehow your package downgrades to 0.0.9 o.O
How to wrap all forms in bootstrap panel? I use this boilerplate
It would be nice to have the choice to include it. It doesn't play well with some bootswatch themes (slate for one).
Renaming it to accounts-templates-bootstrap.import.less would do the trick :)
