Hello, thanks for carl.
question: how can I parse @forall ?
I'm doing something wrong? can I workaround it?
thermostat.n3
@prefix : <#>.
@forAll :x.
{ :thermostat :temp :x } log:implies { :cooling :power :x } .
flag('no-skolem', 'https://melgi.github.io/.well-known/genid/#').
translating file:///home/crvasque/thermostat.n3
scope('file:///home/crvasque/thermostat.n3').
pfx(':','file:///home/crvasque/thermostat.n3#').
parse error at line 2: expected base, prefix or triple
By not allowing literals and blank nodes in predicate position we get the problem that the we can write rules and triples which in "traditional n3" get a result while in this implementation they don't.
Consider the triples:
:a :b "c". :a :b _:x.
and the rule
{:a ?b ?c}=>{?:a ?c ?b}.
This is all valid N3. But applying this rule to the triples would lead to
:a "c" :b. :a _:x :b.
Which could not be parsed by carl.
To guarantee that all output of EYE can be parsed by carl we either need to adapt the semantics of N3 as supported by the reasoner or allow those cases in carl.
Receiving ´make errors´, while trying to build carl as well as cturtle with resepct to flexLexer.h header. But solving this results in C syntax error. Any updates on the version of flex to be used for Windows 10?
Hi Giovanni,
The following triple
:a :b {:c :d :e. :f _:g :h}.
is translated into 2 triples
:f _:t_0 :h.
:a :b {:c :d :e}.
and this is problematic for our prochain test
