Did you set to "type" module?

Kayxue avatar Kayxue commented on June 18, 2024

I set commonjs in tsconfig.json and I didn’t set type in package.json

But you are importing the Client?!
Which can't be done on commonjs

from discord-hybrid-sharding.

Kayxue avatar Kayxue commented on June 18, 2024

Yes
You can use import bla from "bla" even you set "module": "commonjs" in tsconfig.json
When compiling...... it will change import to require maybe?

They are importing inside of ts file. But maybe bcz of any ts configuration issue their code isn't getting compiled to cjs

Try using tsc && node dist/Cluster.js instead
