curses-radio-controlled-car-interface's Introduction

curses-radio-controlled-car-interface

A python curses program which allows the user to drive radio-controlled vehicles via Raspberry Pi GPIO pins and/or an arduino connected to the serial port with Nanpy. In this program, the radio-controlled vehicle is a model tank. The keyboard controls and interface reflect this.

curses-radio-controlled-car-interface's Issues

Implement and test new skid steering method

Currently to turn a hard left the left track moves backwards and the right track moves forwards

A new method would pulse the left track backward for a moment, then the right track forward for a moment, then the left again and so on. Should reduce stress on axels and tracks.
