I suspect there's been a change of naming convention in biblatex. Swapping

{\ifuseauthor{\printnames[last]{author}}{}}% {\ifthenelse{\ifuseeditor\AND\NOT\ifnameundef{editor}}{\printnames[last]{editor}}{}}}

for the existing

{\ifuseauthor{\printnames[surname]{author}}{}}% {\ifthenelse{\ifuseeditor\AND\NOT\ifnameundef{editor}}{\printnames[surname]{editor}}{}}}

on lines 22 and 23 of the .cbx is a quick work-around.

I am receiving the following error when I try to typeset:

aglcv3.cbx:16: Illegal parameter number in definition of \blx@defformat@d.
<to be read again> 

I understand that more-recent distributions of texlive have caused this issue to arise. Would it be possible for you to please update the .cbx file in light of this error?
