The app seems to crash on some articles.
The articles seems random but it happens always on the sames and at the same place on an article.
Seems like some rendering issue.

It seems that Le Monde changed their DOM, because article content is not displayed anymore.
Only image and title are displayed when a user click on an article.

In the process of using, I found a bug in layout / display. As shown in the figure, in the first page, the text in the red box is half blocked. This may be an adaptation problem. I suspect it is because display and font size are set to large (mainly due to display size).
Because of some problems with my eyesight, I often use the largest font and display.

App version is 2.1.4, my mobile phone is Google nexus 6, screen resolution setting is 1920* 1080, font size and display size are the largest ! ! !, Android system is 8.0.

I am using the last version available in F-Droid : 2.1.4.
My Android version is 8.0.0.

Am I missing something ?

Thanks for this great app. However, since the last update I get no content, the app shows no article, same for all categories. It seems it doesn't load correctly. Anyone also encounters this?

When I use a unreliable WiFi connection, the app would crash systematically whenever I have short disconnect. Even though the article is fully loaded.

dualstack.osff2.map.fastly
and s2.shared.global.fastly.net
, and this is reported /blocked as a privacy leak by TrackerControl.

Please can you remove these connections, or explain why they are necessary?

In v1.19 on Android 4.4 (tablet), the list of articles is not updated, and the main window remains blank. The thin line under the menus keeps scrolling, suggesting the search is in progress, but it lasts forever. I don't have a paid account. It has been the case for a few releases.
The menus are here, exactly as expected.
Congrats for this great app !

Somehow the content of each live section is written 3 times

For the version 1.17, the version name has been updated, but not the version code in app/build.gradle.

• The whole article is in French, but can't be toggled in the settings, but the app features was written in English on F-droid.

• Also there is a favorite folder where you can check your favorite articles, but you can't add any there as there seem to be no way to star an article just to share when opened

The app was working great, however since a few days only the article list is loading, as soon as you choose an article there is no text, only the picture on the top. Aware of the issue? Other people concerned?

After update from fdroid (2.1.6 ->3.0.0), app crash on launch. It starts to open then close.

I dont know how to give more informations, but I can provide if someone tell me.

When reading an article, view should keep the right offset, no matter if device is in portrait mode or landscape mode.

The feed titles are displayed with wrong encoding, it seems that Le Monde changed their feed encoding.

After opening the videos part, you can't watch the video, even after clicking on the video tag in the picture

First things first : thank you very much for your project!

I've just understood why my phone sometimes wasn't turning to sleep : #54
For my part, I think it's a bad idea to keep screen on : when I read an article, I'm focusing on it, which means I'm regularly touching the screen (to read more, change of article, etc.) This way, my phone won't enter in sleep mode in the middle of the article. The only moment the 'keep screen on' feature works is thus when I'm not focusing on my phone… expecting it to go to sleep.

So I can understand why keeping the screen on can sometimes be a good idea, but I think it should be optional.
I'm also not sure it should be default as I really thought there was something off with my phone until recently…

What do you think of such an enhancement ? The "keep screen on" as an option, deactivated by default ?

But I think the comments should be visible even on premium articles.

When going back from category to headlines, it's still the category for fetching the feed. The pop action must overwrite the value in AsyncStorage

Unfortunately google never publishes any source code for non-release versions of the android gradle plugin. F-Droid needs to be able to build the app with only free software, so we can't use such pre-release versions.

Could you stick to release versions of the plugin for your releases?

I saw that the corresponding bug had been fixed and also the encoding problem.
