flash chips can be accessed via the low-level flash_xxx() APIs directly so far, but now we plan to remove these APIs and replace with generic device file operations, which means we'd design and develop the flash char-device driver first.

read-only operations (read() and readdir()) are supported so far.

The flash command does NOT work now since flash_xxx() APIs was removed and replaced with POSIX file operations.

1. overview: 2 types of block device: class gendisk (generic disk drive) and class mtd (flash)
2. gendisk's subclass: mmc, scsi and ata, ...
3. mtd' subclass: nand, nor, ...

yaffs2 image checking is not supported yet, and the yaffs1-check algorithm should also be fixed.

we need a unique API to access all devices in g-bios, so comes the file system called "devfs"!
devfs for g-bios is NOT the old devfs in Linux kernel. It's more like the combination of current devtmpfs and sysfs.

current Makefiles only check .c files, but not including .h files.
