GLX error when starting

I tried building on my other machine today, and unfortunately I got this error:

Strange error when checking repo out incorrectly

Not an issue necessarily, but I thought I'd document in case someone else runs into this.

$ git clone [email protected]:MaxOw/RuneSlayer.git
$ cd RuneSlayer
$ nix-build

The mistake here is not doing git clone --recursive. If you add --recursive, then this step works. See NixOS/nixpkgs#45775. (Thanks @srhb!)

Use nix to build executable

It would be cool if the last step of the build (cabal build) is already done, so you can just do nix-build and it will build everything, including the executable.
