This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

2-Feature-Authentication

Description:

Context:

A new feature called "2-FeatureAuthentication" has been implemented that allows users to authenticate using their Gmail or GitHub accounts. As part of this implementation, a new route called /login has been created where users will be able to log in.

Implementation Details:

  • Next Auth has been integrated to manage authentication.
  • MongoDB Atlas has been configured as the database to store user data.
  • GitHub authentication providers have been used and Google to allow users to log in with their accounts of these platforms.
  • Next Auth adapter for MongoDB has been installed for facilitate integration with the database.
  • The JWT tokens containing information such as user ID, name, email, profile image, among other necessary information.

For this new project called Full Stack Twitter I created the first feature called "1-Feature-setup-project". These technologies will provide the necessary basis for the development and proper functioning of the feature.

Used technology:

React.js:

A JavaScript library for building interactive user interfaces.

JavaScript.js:

The primary programming language used for application logic on the client and server side.

Next.js:

A React framework that allows the creation of fast and scalable web applications.

Node.js:

A server-side JavaScript runtime environment that allows JavaScript code to be executed outside of a web browser.

A CSS utility framework that provides predefined classes to quickly style the user interface.
