Now that bulletins are readable from JSON files, make submitting them possible from admin control page.
Make the pagination nav scroll through different calendar views based on month. Bonus points if you can add transitions.
Similar to how bulletins were written, pull alerts from a JSON file. Then, display them.
Add editing, adding, and removing with admin discretion without having to mess with the JSON file.
Well, it doesn't work. The page name is site_wide.php.
The current issue is that the close alerts functions don't work properly. I suspect it's an issue with how the Sessions work.
The messaging system would be an in-site, email-style messaging system. Anybody with an account can send another registered account email a message.
Messages will have author, recipient, subject, tag (i.e. admin sent, site-wide, etc.), and content. On received message, a notification pops up on the toolbar.
Implement it however you'd like, as long as messages cannot be accessed unless you're either the sender or receiver.
Bonus: Have an inbox where you can scroll through your previous messages.
Bonus 2x: Reply button and conversation chains.
To the obvious question of why not emails, emails often are very cluttered and often isn't related to robotics; as well, members need to go on the site to log in/check in for attendance every time they come to club, opposed to no real incentive to check email.
user_home.php has a bulletin display using import_bulletin.php and it doesn't work. My guess is the div splicing, but I don't know. @jacksarick please give it a look.
Problem right now is .getContext being undefined. I've tried both methods that Chart.js/documentation has recommended. Chart doesn't show up, though on my own html file it works perfectly fine. Thoughts?
Right now, there's already a framework of parsing basic attendance data, or basically how many people have been logged. Yet, there's a lot more we need:
This needs to be completed ASAP, and definitely before exams start. This is key to keeping our site as a club-based site.
Good luck!
