It would be great If I could set the name of the inventory file to something different than vagrant_ansible_inventory.

It could be something like this:

config.vm.provision :vai do |ansible|
  ansible.inventory_dir='ansible/inventory'
  ansible.inventory_filename='hosts'
end

I want to create an inventory file like this:

[cdh5-zookeeperserver]
idc1-hjn1 zoo_id=1
idc1-hjn2 zoo_id=2

So I need to define some variables on the hosts in the group.
How would I do that with vai?

Hi,

when using vai it writes the absolute path on the host to the inventory file.

But, when executing ansible it is run in the vm, where the path is /vagrant/....

Am i missing something here or am i using it wrong?

PS: I Use ansible_local.
