zram-boot-setup's Issues

README lacks mentioning impact on RAM amount available

Hi, interesting project. I'm experimenting with booting toram by favorite Linux Mint distro from USB. Copy of distro in RAM takes, well, about same as size of ISO file. What happens in this project? I guess system takes about same size from RAM as loading squashfs file from liveUSB, but also compresses remaining amount? Is total available memory after boot about same as ordinary boot / even more? I also want to try using zram for swap to increase amount of available RAM. I wonder if your way is even better in terms of RAM amount as compresses all RAM and no ovehead to move to/from SWAP, is it? You mentioned high speed of the system once booted, so CPU for compression is not an issue (at least on some hardware). TIA
