Generate Bitcoin Vanity Address

What is bitcoin vanity address?

Vanity addresses are valid bitcoin addresses that contain human-readable messages.

For example, 1LoveBPzzD72PUXLzCkYAtGFYmK5vYNR33 is a valid address that contains the letters forming the word "Love" as the first four Base-58 letters. Vanity addresses require generating and testing billions of candidate private keys, until one derives a bitcoin address with the desired pattern...reference

        How many threads you want to spawn (default 16)

How to use?

Hello!

Could you please explain how to use this program?

go get github.com/MarinX/btc-vanity installs the package but no executable. Not sure how to proceed from there.

Cloning it and running go build from that directory doesn't do anything either. What am I missing?

I'm new to go, so excuse my ignorance.
