- Create a
secret_key
file in the root of the repo and add your Django secret key inside - Create a
yt_api_key
file and add your YouTube API key inside - Run
pip install django google-api-python-client
in your virtual env - Run
./manage.py syncdb
and./manage migrate
Once the setup is done and your server is running,
go to /videos/<channel_username>
to get the RSS Feed of recent videos.
You can either use the /videos/<channel_username>
or /videos_by_id/<channel_id>
URLs
to access videos for a given channel. (In some cases only the ID is available)
You can always append a filter at the end of either URL to retrieve only videos
that match this filter.
