When I try to add pictures to an entry the album names are shown, but the images don't load. When I try to select a picture the app crashes when I click on okay after selecting.
I freshly installed the newest version of the app.

The error message I'm getting on app crash is the following:

Describe the bug
Due to changes regarding storage access in Android 10+, the app may not be able to find any backup files from which to restore from.

How to fix
The library I use for file access has not yet been updated to support the new storage access methods. If it does not get added soon there will have to be a rewrite to use the new Storage Access Framework

I think allowing to pick images from external image apps would be great.

All image apps have their own way of sorting albums and images, so it's easier to find a picture with my favorite image app. Adding a button in the upper bar which opens the dialog to select an image would be great.

Since this app is Apache v2 licensed, are you considering the fact to add it to F-Droid? There is a strong community behind.

You can find some documentation here.

Otherwise, if you don't want to work on the inclusion of this app by yourself, would it be ok for you if someone else do it for you?
