i would also like to see the intermediate sources, but i don't want to install all these interpreters and compilers on my system, because i will probably never use them again.

I created a "spoiler" branch. It will be automatically updated by Travis CI. Have fun!

When this repository is outdated, will you be really satisfied to see just intermediate sources? I won't.
Please contribute to keep it new (or enjoy the beauty of impermanence ;-)

(A real reason: I'd like to hide intermediate sources because they are too big and awkward...)

I think @quchen is talking about Linux distribution repositories, not about this GitHub repository. To put it more clearly:

If you are running a distro (e.g. Debian) with outdated compiler versions in the official repositories, running all 50 steps of QR is pretty hard because it will fail on one step or the other (since some intermediate sources won't compile on outdated compilers). That's where the intermediate sources could step in to bridge the gaps.

@quchen How do they bridge the gaps?

@MaPePeR You may want to use debootstrap and chroot. Or virtual machine such as vagrant.

I guess running it in a VM will do. (There are lots of forks of this on Github now that provide the intermediate sources, so I guess it's fine for practical purposes now.)

@mame Yep, vagrant is perfect for this. Recommend.

@quchen Oops, I thought I replied to @p-e-w. Thank you anyway.
