PoolProducts

A concept design for a proposed overhaul to an existing company's website. The purpose is to :

  • Improve sales by making the cart more visible and to appear more like a shop
  • Improve website views, especially in smaller screens
  • Alter menu displays
  • Condense the number of pages to reduce the navigation bar taking up too much space

Update : The client was happy with the existing proposal and wanted to integrate this into Shopify. Code Extracts from this propsal were taken and added to the Shopify development store.

Create Warranty page

Requirements :

  • Create new warranty page based on existing page.
  • Link to be added to the Tips and Troubleshooting page.
  • Link to be added to the Contact Us page.
  • Link to be added to the About Us page.

Make Header responsive

Requirements :

  • Header should show large logo and no badge when in larger mode.
  • On smaller devices, the badge should show, no large logo.
  • Shipping highlight should show at all times.

Make Footer responsive

Requirements :

  • Social media icons to be located in footer or along side of screen when in small mode.
  • Social media icons should always be visible.
  • Footer containing copyright should be able to be seen without obstructing the social media icons.

Create Privacy Policy page

Requirements :

  • Replicate existing Privacy Policy Page.
  • Reformat details.
  • Must be responsive.
  • To be added to the footer of all existing pages.

Create "About Us" page

Requirements :

  • Use the current "About us" detail
  • Merge information from the History page

Create Contact Us page

Requirements :

  • Replicate information from the current "Contact us" page.
  • Reformat into neater presentation.
  • No email form to be included yet.

Create Troubleshooting page

Requirements :

  • Format the descriptions a little more
  • Must be responsive.
  • Create Table of Contents to link to the different sections.
