Hi there, this is great! A few steps better than my own :)

Do you think it makes sense to include lru-cache into the server? I haven't played with this myself, but it seems to be beneficial.

Perhaps it'd be better to use the preact-router?

Since it's component-based, it can be passed thru to preact-render-to-string.

It's also lighter than universal-router (which is more Preact-esque 😉) and, of course, it's part of the Preact ecosystem... which is good for a Preact boiler imo.
