Can lend you a NC-6 Controller for further testing

Hi Simon,
I would like to help you test this further, specifically the master/slave issue you mention. I couldn't see any other way to contact you (bit new to Github), so raising it as an issue.
I have a Brivis heater (and evap cooler), with an NC-6 controller and the wifi module. I run Home Assistant with some ESPHome modules (albeit simple ones).
I also have a spare NC-6 controller which I would be happy to lend you for testing. I see you are in Canberra as well.

Support for LCD display and buttons?

Could this be extended to support a display and physical buttons?

If I understand correctly, this needs to replace the BR2 completely, so making this unit autonomous from Home Assistant (if HA is down) would be great.

Could the existing pin outs be used for this - IC2 for a display and buttons?
