Roundcube does not start about mailinabox HOT 13 CLOSED

I think I left out a step. Run:

conf/php-fcgid start

?

Ok. Try now. You can just run scripts/webmail.sh directly to apply the change to the machine. Let me know if it works.

Unfortunately... still not working. Actually, now that i'm doing more debugging, I wonder if it has something to do with apache? I saw what looked like an error re: apache, and then I ran service apache2 restart and got this error:

The setup here uses nginx which is an alternative to apache. Are you using apache on the machine? (If no, apt-get remove it. If yes, Apache will need a different configuration to know how to see roundcube.)

That helped. Now I can load roundcube, but I see

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

When I ran the script, I saw this in the console:

dbconfig-common: writing config to /etc/dbconfig-common/roundcube.conf
dbconfig-common: flushing administrative password

I was wrong about running webmail.sh directly, but I've pushed a fixed for that, so try running that again.

(Also pushed not letting people install this on systems other than Ubuntu 13.04, if you run start.sh again. And I'll also push the version update --- I just tried that in case that was your problem, but it doesn't seem to be.)

Tried it again. I think apache is being loaded by roundcube. Might be a bug with roundcube...
