[Question] Mysterious options about hmp3 HOT 2 CLOSED

These settings are indeed mysterious and seem to select between different attempts to tweak and test things during development. I didn't see any documentation on what changes between these options and what the intended outcomes are. For normal encoding, I thus don't recommend messing with these settings - but anyone feeling a bit adventurous might find it enjoyable to test things out. According to the parameter description "6 or 8 seems best" - whatever that means.

Attention to these advanced options was drawn during the recent Helix workshop on Hydrogenaudio forum here and there. Perhaps Janne Hivarinen, who edited the code, will finally bring clarity.
