Comments on comparison with autoconf-archive
First, thanks very much for writing this! It is good to have this orientation.
The paragraph that starts
One other important difference is represented by the way whereby the macros are distributed.
is not true, I think. At least, unless I have grossly misunderstood autoconf-archive! I have always copied individual macros into my projects. I checked the autoconf-archive docs, and I can't see anywhere that it tells you how to use the macros.
So unless I'm wrong, I suggest you simply delete this paragraph. It is kind of interesting that this reduces the differences in scope between the two projects!
