theme-obsidian-2's Issues

Wrong color for the cinnamon amber theme

Hi,

There is a problem with the amber theme cinnamon.css file.
I think you made a mistake and replaced it with the aqua version.

cinnamon-amber

I also take this opportunity to point out another small error in the gtk.css files (gtk-3.20 only) of all themes.
The .csd.popup decoration class is duplicated at lines 7360 and 8598.

Thank you very much for this great theme and keep up the good work !

Thunar partially takes the theme in XFCE 4.16.3

Hi, and thank you for your work @madmaxms I have been using your theme for a few years on zorin 15 (version 4.14.3 xfce) and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately I changed distribution recently. Manjaro with an xfce 4.16.3 but the theme is only partially taken by thunar.

on the screenshot, you can see that the left window partially takes the theme and the right one completely. do you know a corrective?

Gnome 43 compatibility

I love your theme. And I like use new updates.
In Gnome 43, this theme was partially applied. System's windows still displayd Adwita theme.

Do you have a plan to fix this?

gtkrc missing color reference

Hello,
in the gtk-2.0/gtkrc file, for other colors than blue (regular Obsidian), the

gtk-color-scheme = "menu_fg: #******"

line is missing at the beginning, causing an error starting from line 595.
This makes the theme unusable in qt applications (qt5ct error).

Thanks.

Contrast issues in Obsidian-2 and Obsidian-2-Teal but not Obsidian-2-Aqua

Links in Liferea's story body preview are poorly contrasted to the point they're not legible in the default and Teal themes but are otherwise fine with Aqua. e.g. Note the bottom right story summary link starting with: "Not to be left out of the rush to integrate generative AI..." where the link appears:

Obsidian-2:
Obsidian-2
Obsidian-2-Teal:
Obsidian-2-Teal
Obsidian-2-Aqua:
Obsidian-2-Aqua

Putting aside whether the contrast issue is a Liferea mistake or not, at the very least, I believe the inconsistency between how the different theme varieties' elements are colored is probably a mistake.

version 2.16 bug about gnome builder top bar.

I moved back to the version 2.15 and everything seems OK. In the latest version the top bar is larger for gnome builder.

Thanks you for the amazing theme! Please keep updating it!

Trouble with download

If you download the repo instead of cloning it, all the sym links are broken in the zip file.

Same issue for the icons... broken sym links in the zip file.

Problem v2.9 and nemo context menus

Hi,

I noticed that the look of the drop down menus has changed a lot, and in particular in nemo file manager (v 4.2.3, manjaro testing branch), there is an issue, some checkboxes are missing, see screenshots: first with v2.8, that's correct (there is a checkbox next to "Afficher les fichiers cachés")

Now with v2.9, no more checkbox:

Thanks.

Dark font on dark background in google-chrome/chromium address bar

Hello,

this was introduced with release 2.1.2, the one with the firefox textfields fix (by the way, I can't see the problem in firefox with earlier versions). Can you please check/fix this?

Thanks.

Edit : another issue, also introduced in v2.1.2. On the chromium start/new tab page, the little bar above the thumbnails is white with black fonts, whereas it should be dark with white fonts.

Parsing errors

I am getting some theme parsing erros when using theme-obsidian-2 v2.5 on my NixOS system:
