Firstly, thanks for putting this package together. It looks very helpful for a project I am working on.

After thinking about it, I can't help but think that the transform method should be allowed to accept any type of parameter. It seems a little bit restrictive to only accept an array. For instance, when working with an ORM, I may wish to pass in a class which has nested attributes.

Of course, the method should return an array.

What I propose is to change:

interface Transformer
{
    /**
     * @param array $row
     *
     * @return array
     */
    public function transform(array $row);
}

To:

interface Transformer
{
    /**
     * @param mixed $row
     *
     * @return array
     */
    public function transform($row);
}

Would you have any objections to a PR for this?
