What can I do ?

The QR code spans the whole screen and is cropped by the widget ring on the top right. Is there a way to resize?

Hi there.
So, I recently got a new Garmin Fenix 6 (I previously had a Fenix 6s) and when I installed the widget it worked fine.
I did notice, however, that there is a barcode I wanted to remove. So I went to https://data-manager.qrcode.macherel.fr/
and I deleted that record. The problem is that while that record does not exist anymore on that URL (with my valid token), the said barcode still exists on my watch.
I enabled "debug" on the widget settings (via Connect IQ) thinking that a force sync would be initiated, but then what I'm getting is an error -403 when I launch the widget and after I press the "down" button I can see the barcodes without any further issue, but the deleted barcode is still there.

So, without the "debug" option enabled, I'm getting a fully functional widget but with the deleted barcode showing up.
With the "debug" option enabled, I'm getting initially an error-403 and then by pressing the down button I can see all the barcodes along with the supposedly deleted one.

Any ideas what's happening here, besides the obvious conclusion that the sync does not work correctly?

Fenix 6 Silver / FW: 25.10

Simpler QR codes seem to be ok and are close the the screens border (still could be a little closer).

But my vaccination QR almost looks smaller then the one on my old F6, way to much unused space.

When using the app for a digital COVID cert. On the 735XT the code only takes up a fraction of the screen and is much too small to be scanned by a camera.

I want to show a code39 barcode, and show nothing on watch screen. Even turn on debug mode, still nothing on it.

I downloaded your app but when copying the output value of my French covid pass, the QR code generated by your app is different from the official one.
Is there something I do wrong or does the text value miss something to imitate the QR code for the official TousAntiCovid app ?

On 2022 devices Garmin removed the category "widgets", they are all just apps now, apps can act as widget but you have to unlock that feature. Could you please do so, so it appears also in the glances list.

Hi,

I installed the app on my Venu 2 and configured according instructions; added token and some barcodes. I got the message "No barcode." I went to settings, switched "debug" on and went back to the app. The app showed only the IQ logo with exclamation mark.

Then I tried to make an attempt to uninstall and reinstall the application but it seems that I am unable to uninstall it. The uninstall button just disappears and software stays both in Connect IQ list and watch.

I am using Garmin Venu 2 with the latest available updates and Google Pixel 6 running Android 12 with latest patches. I have the latest versions of Connect and Connect IQ softwares.

The app was updated successfully from 1.8.5 to 1.8.6 at some point but still uninstall does not work.

I'm trying to get my corona code loaded however it's very tiny and uses only a small part of the (big) fenix 6x screen. Can we maximize the picture?

Hi, when I start the app, I get "IQ!" visualized. Nothing else.

When I try to open the app on Forrerunner 745, I see only the icon "IQ exclamation mark"... See the printscreen:

Just wanted to install my new watch, by coping the token over. New watch is not getting the codes and shows Error 429.

When putting my token into the website it says "You have been temporary banned, please come back later."

I will come back later...

My current token has expired and creating a new one only allows for a temporary token which will expire in 7 days.
Any way around this?

See the image, because of the screen design the QR code gets covered on the top right corner and therefore cannot be scanned successfully. for Instinct 2S a smaller sized QR code would work. Would be awesome if you could make this fix! Cheers

In the last few days I've found myself looking at my phone an hour after using a barcode, and still seeing a barcode, since I forgot to exit Barcode Wallet.

Would it be possible to have a setting to automatically exit after 1, 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes of inactivity?

Some other apps have this feature (myHomeControl), and I've found it very useful. By leaving it set to 5 minutes I never need to think about exiting the program. My watch is just back to being a watch the next time I look at it.

Is it possible to add upc (a) barcode support?

When I click on the + sign I simply just get a message saying 'failed to create new token'

I'm having trouble reading Codabar barcodes using the data-manager site, also I don't see the Codabar as a valid type in the dropdown menu so I still can't recreate the barcode I want even if I input the data manually. Just want to make sure if it's currently supported. Normal QR code works no problem so I don't think it's a problem with my device.

Barcode-Wallet is indespensable and i use it daily. The only limitation is that for cards that i use few times a year i tend not to load into my watch as then it takes too much time scrolling through the long list (and also lot of effort to organize them in a reasonable way - which means i need to remember how are barcodes groupped and groups ordered).
If it was possible to organize cards into folders, you could have a few folders for categories and then quickly locate the card within a category (so e.g. instead of scrolling through 50 items you would scroll through 6-7 folders and then through 5-10 items in given folder).
Even limited functionality to only allow one level of folders (without mixing barcodes and folders) would be a great improvement.
So it would be enough to add just the field Category/Folder and if populated, the app/widget would only show folders when opening. Ordering could still be done manually (as is now) so Category would only show a subset of the cards with the current order.

Whenever I navigate away from the widget or the app version, the screen will turn off. Not sure if that is an intended behaviour, or something I can configure.

The barcode readers I'm dealing with will only work with my watch backlight on.

If I'm showing someone a barcode and my backlight shuts off due to timeout, it feels natural to tap my screen again to light it up.

Tapping the screen will turn on my backlight, but it also takes me to the barcode selection screen, requiring me re-select the barcode I want to show someone.

I've learned that pressing the side button on my watch will light it back up without changing the barcode, but it doesn't quite feel as natural.

Would it be possible to have a setting so the app won't enter the the barcode selection menu if the backlight is off? Effectively it would take two taps to enter the menu, a single tap would just refresh the backlight timeout.

Also, would it be possible to have a setting to not shut the backlight off on exit? If using the widget, it makes scrolling through the widget menus odd, since it the light will shut off and then flick back on between widgets. And it makes exiting the app at night odd since once I exit the app I can't see the screen I'm exiting to.

Thanks for a great application! It's the best Garmin barcode app I've seen so far.

When I activate "sorting by distance" I get an IQ error on my F7 and its not possible to recover by turning that off again, need to remove the app.
