My own kpt-functions, developed for the Nephio R3 Observability POC.
Head over to the /smf-package
to view the SMF Free5GC package. Then, run kpt eval
to run the kpt package declarative pipeline, and observe the OpenTelemetry Operator annotations appearing in the Network Function yaml definition.
Use kpt fn eval ./testdata/test1/resources.yaml --image marcinziolkowski/orange-otel-annotate:1.0.0 -- by-path='spec.**.containerPort'
to run the kpt functions. The values to pass should be as follow: "First annotation" "Second annotation"
Or use kpt fn eval ./test-deploy/deploy.yaml --image gcr.io/kpt-fn/set-annotations:v0.1.4 -- instrumentation.opentelemetry.io/inject-go=true instrumentation.opentelemetry.io/otel-go-auto-target-exe=/free5gc/amf/amf
to run the Google kpt function.
Or use kpt fn render
to run the Kptfile pipeline.
Use ./build-and-push-images.sh
to re-build the images and push them to a registry of your choice.
kpt packages for Nephio are fetched from Nephio catalog repo, via kpt pkg get https://github.com/nephio-project/catalog/workloads/free5gc/pkg-example-amf-bp@main
