It looks like you are encouraging other people to try and extend this project but without an open-source license we technically can't distribute any changes we make :)

My personal recommendation for "hopefully this will be useful to someone"-type projects (which this seems to be) is the BSD 2-clause, as it's pretty short and simple.

OS: Windows 11 10.0.22631.3007
The version of the ToothTray: ToothTray v0.2
Bluetooth headsets that were tested: Jabra Evolve 75e, Sony WH-1000XM5

Problem description

After disconnecting an audio device using the ToothTray, the device doesn't disconnect completely - the microphone is still left connected:

Streps to reproduce

1. Connect to the headset device via the ToothTray or via Bluetooth & devices Windows dialog
2. Audio and Microphone get connected.
   
3. Disconnect the device via ToothTray
4. Only the audio part of the device is disconnected. The microphone is still left connected.
   
   

I downloaded missing nugget packages but still can't build the project

Hi！After right-clicking, the pop-up menu is located in the taskbar, can it appear on the top of the taskbar, so that it looks more reasonable!

Have you considered left-clicking and then the selection menu appears? Or offer similar setup options

I found this repo by googling and from the description it sounds like you managed to implement something workable. Any chance you could upload a compiled exe as a release? I don't know enough about windows programming to compile it myself.

Executable working smoothly as-is for connecting/disconnecting a paired device on Win 11,
but is there any way to change the source (simple parameter) to indicate when a device is connected or not?
Not terribly familiar with C, so asking first. That would be extremely useful, if yes, i'm sure for many..
If no answer, I will dig in, in the coming weeks when free...

I've been searching for a way to connect Bluetooth audio devices using macros/scripts and this seems to be by FAR the closest implementation of such a utility. Thank you very much for your contribution!

Is there any chance you would consider adding the ability to connect to a Bluetooth audio device by providing its name (or another applicable identifier) as a command line argument?

When right clicking on the tray, it doesn't show the currently connected BT device. Could this feature be added please?
