simple-quake-launcher-2's Issues

[Feature Request] Native Linux Version

I wanna use a native Linux source port,so does that work if I use SQL2 with wine?
If not,I would like a native Linux version.
A native Linux version would be great anyways, cause wine programs can't use my theme probably.

[Feature] Zip/pk3 support

Since some popular support like Yamagi support it, it'd be great if SQL2 was able to directly access content (maps) stored in zip/pk3 files just as if they were inside of pak files.

[Feature Request] +exec *.cfg

Great app. It makes switching between different source ports really easy.

I'd like to request the following feature:
I like to execute custom config files on launch. It would be great it SQL2 could parse /ID1 and offer me all *.cfg not being config.cfg or autoexec.cfg in a dropdown menu to choose from. Once I select one it adds +exec *.cfg to the command line.

[Possible Bug] Upper limit to mod directories?

I've added a few mods the past few days and no matter what I do the program will not recognize them. They are playable and have progs.dat files but refuse to show up in the list of mods. One of these is voidmod - attached. I'm stumped on this one. But my Quake directory is quite large.

[Bug] Cannot load maps with special chars

SQL 2.5 apparently has issues loading maps with special chars in it.

Example: Scorched Earth
Map name (e.g.): SGC9-1.bsp

When trying to load the mod with yquake2.exe +set game scorched +set skill 0 +map sgc9-1, you get an error ("Can't find maps/sgc9.bsp"). This means it doesn't read the "-1" part. Same with "-2", "-3" etc.

Maps load fine when launched via console.

Allow arbitrary extra CLI args

It's currently possible to input into the "Command Line" field once, but it must be then be cleared using some other action before I get a chance at inputing again. Ideally I'd be able to type aribtrary input.

CRASH opening huge mods

Trying selecting a huge mod like Slayer Testament the Sql Launcher crash and leave the desktop.
Qss 1.5.0 select engine.
Slayer testament mod - > select this and you have the crash.

Request: Linux Appimage Version

Hey. I realize you've probably moved on from this project but would you consider making a build for Linux preferably as an Appimage? Quake on Linux really needs some nice, clean and easy way to run mods and this would be perfect. In fact, SQL is the only tool I actually miss after moving from Windows!
