I have set up my keybinds and would like to know what to do next to get it working on my switch

i try to connect to the serial port but the program stops responding as soon as i try i'm running on windows 10 home edition updated to the latest. are there any extra drivers i need?

I have recently got Joycontrol working on an Ubuntu Virtual Machine. It worked like a charm just using Bluetooth. However, it requires to write down the input names on the terminal for it to actually work. I do not have any experience whatsoever with developing these kind of programs, so my question is if it is possible to do this by that method on Windows with keyboard inputs instead of commands? If not, then is it possible to develop this on Linux with that method?

Sorry in advance for my ignorance, as I said, I have no knowledge on how these programs work.
