Hey, I just downloaded the software. It works really well while recording Gta V but for some reason it is not recording my CsGO. I changed the recording mode to manual but it doesn't seem to work.

Hi, I've jsut installed for the first time both plays.tv and RePlaysTV.

When I try to open the software, I get stuck on splash screen, like below:

Has it happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to solve it?

In csgo I you kill someone while using a bot there ain't a bookmark for it. I think those kills should also be bookmarked and maybe with an little bit different bookmark.

I noticed when I started plays when im spectating another person, it records the persons kills on the client as well when you go back and rewatch the recording. So every recorded kill for that game is the one of the person I was spectating when I started the program.

Kills mainly, maybe defuses but just kills themselves would be great if this is possible <3

My custom auto-delete 30gb or after 4 days doesn't work, and every time i shutdown then turn my PC back on it defaults to the auto which is 90% disk space which is not what I want at all. Plus Plays keeps starting maximized when I have "start minimized" enabled.

Please fix this!

So I play league of legends, I used to have Plays.tv, and recently i found out Replays exists.

I already had Plays installed and I installed the 3.0.3a Version on top of it. My old replays appeared after the installation. Buy my new games didn't record or show up. (Automatic recording is enabled)

Then i tried uninstalling Plays and deleting everything from the appdata Plays and Plays-ltc folders. Then downloaded and installed Plays from the wayback machine link and re installed Replays. And I followed the video explanation. (When installing Replays i wait untill a sign appears saying its done and i can close the installer) The program works fine but it still isnt recording.

Also when I press the Clip or Record keys the game freezes for a milisec as if it started recording or saved a clip. But still nothing is saved.

I also tried changing the save folder, but to no success.

I would appreciate any help given to fix this particular problem i have, since i don't like any other recording apps.

My replays work great but my own voice doesn't appear.

I am experiencing a black screen with audio on my recorded League of legends replays.
I am unable to rollback my windows10 updates because it has been over 10days since the update. What would solve this issue?

RePlays seems to work fine as it records my games without any problem. However, when the application is running, I constantly get those 2 error messages:

• LocalBridge.exe - Bad Image
• AppleMobileDeviceProcess.exe - Bad Image

When I close the application during playback, the video should stop

Hey, I got this, I don't wanna say issue, but it kinda is, you see, I play HvH which means "Hacker vs Hacker", the problem I'm facing is that the "ESP" hack doesn't fully show, the name, health bar and gun.
I had this "problem" with the original Plays app before. Still, I didn't bother and used NVidia GeForce now, which I don't like anymore.

Now I know there is an exclusion button in settings but then you have to find the .exe and when you have 5 drives (combo of SSD's and HDD's) like I do, its hard to do that.

If you could right click on the recording of a game and click "Don't record this game" so it ignores the game with that title or from the same .exe it recorded that game, it would make life a looooot easier.

Not sure if there's a way to fix this but due to Sea of Thieves being launched from the Xbox (Beta) app, the RePlays client doesn't recognize it and you cannot manually input the game to be captured.

Currently, In-game overlay does not work. I have trouble understanding why the in game overlay is not displaying. Maybe someone can take a look, maybe I must have overlooked something.

Some things to note when observing the in game overlay modules:

• src\controller\IngameHUD.js is where the in game overlay gets initialized(?)
  • There are two modes/versions of the in game overlay, 'hudv1' and 'hudv2', V1 is supposedly deprecated but is still there.
    • Switching from V1 and V2 shows no difference in displaying the overlay.
• src\service\IngameService.js Is hudv1 (deprecated)
• src\service\IngameOverlay\IngameHUDService.js is hudv2 (currently used)

Hi there,

I have used RePlaysTV before to record my game sessions and would create clips. All of a sudden today it stopped working. I reinstalled RePlays but it still is not recording. The program itself is working, but when I am in game it does not show the recording session red circle icon in the program. When I leave my game it automatically opens up RePlaysTV (as it should) but there will be no recorded session.

I makes an error noise and nothing more. Every now and then I get an memory access error. The game does not even start. As soon as I close RePlaysTV the game starts just fine.

When Plays.tv was about to die, I went through the trouble of taking the names I put on allll my online videos and putting them in as descriptions for the videos, locally. Took hours. It would be great if RePlays could reincorporate those names/descriptions because I put a ton of "work" into them

The theme setting in the "General" tab does not seem to be persist across sessions. It is always reset to Default upon startup.

Hey, I was having trouble installing Replay.tv. It would get stuck and sit for 30+ minutes before I'd kill it. It looks like the problem was I'd unzipped the installer into a directory path that had a space in it (e.g. C:\downloads\replay tv\installer). Once I changed it to a path with no spaces, it worked fine (e.g. C:\downloads\replay_tv\installer).

Obviously this is a low priority issue, but you might want to make a note in the readme that the download path should not have a space in it.

So basically when im streaming on twitch (with streamlabs OBS) would it be possible to tell replaysTV in an update like "if streamlabsobs.exe is open, dont record, but otherwise do record"

I don't know if this is possible at all but yeah, it'd be nice since twitch saves my recordings anyway if like, It could just not record when im streaming automatically.

I get a lot of comments on my tutorial video and on the reddit about the web archive link not working, and apart from that I did a test, web archive locks it at a max of 1.2mb/s download speed when downloading (I regularly only got like 300kb/s while downloading from that mirror) but when I uploaded the setup from the same link to dropbox, and downloaded it again, it downloaded at 12mb/s (my DL speed)

Not sure how feasible it is to incorprate now but a nice funtion to have back is the KDA timestamps for League Of Legends -Along with filter by kills/deaths/assists too. Continue the good work

If you are having this problem, it is likely because you've freshly installed Plays, or never installed Plays until now.

The issue is because you needed to have downloaded the game detection database before plays shutdown. Reinstalling might have wiped them out, making replays unable to detect games and start recording.

A temporary fix you can try is to manually add them back yourself by downloading the attached .zip file. datastore.zip
Extract the datastore folder into C:\Users\(Your current user)\AppData\Roaming\Plays

That should manually add back those missing files that are needed to detect games for recording.

Since I installed RePlaysTV, I have a popup showing up every ~15 minutes if the PC is active.
The popup is called "LocalBridge.exe - Image incorrecte" which apparently translate to "incorrect parameter".

Then it says "C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Plays-ltc\0.54.7\ltc_help64-47766-7e77e412.dll is not conceived to run on windows or contains an error."

Wonder if you have any idea where that might come from.

Currently, the dark and light themes are the free Bootswatch themes. Using these as placeholders. They can certainly look better, but I am not particularly good at designing fashionable themes. So I'll leave this job for someone else.

If you think you can help out, the .css files are located in src/css/.
The default theme is bootstrap.css.
The dark theme is bootstrap-dark.css.
The light theme is bootstrap-light.css.

When I try to set my replay hotkey to Alt+F10 the "Alt" doesn't register. CTRL and Shift both work fine.
Is it some other program thats the issue?

Hi. The installer doesn't seem to work for me.

I had previously uninstalled Plays so I started by downloading the PlaysSetup.exe installer from Dropbox. Ran that, ended the process and ran RePlaysTV-Installer.exe after that. Tried 3 times against clean PlaysTV installation. Running the installer as admin didn't seem to make a difference.

On the left is the original, on the rigth is my version. The darker | makes it easier to read discern there are pieces of data (date | time | size) instead of 1 long, hard-to-read string

FiveM is currently not supported I used to use plays TV all the time cause of how well it worked and would love for the new RePlaysTV to work as well

Whenever you launch Final Fantasy VII via the "7th Heaven" mod manager Plays will never record the executable even when you add the FF7.exe or FF7_en.exe to the allowed game capture list

As of late, many users have been reporting recording issues. I believe future recording issues are now caused by the LTC process.

From my little understanding, the LTC process is basically the encoder/capture process which runs side by side with the Plays client. That means the Plays client really has nothing to do with the recording process other than telling the process to start recording the game/application.

Now here's the real problem, the LTC process cannot be easily modified like the Plays client. So I (personally) do not have a way to resolve any recording issues caused by the LTC process.

These LTC process issues vary from computer to computer, I cannot pinpoint if it is a hardware issue or a software related issue.

If you are trying to assist others (or looking into it yourself), create logs and look into 'orbital.log' file. Search for the string 'LTCInterface.js' and see if there are any error messages on that same line. If there is, then it is a LTC process error. Most of these errors are very generic or lacking information.

Some examples of LTC issues/errors:

Best of luck folks. Whenever I have a huge time off span, I will create an experimental branch replacing this LTC process with different methods of recording. But as of now, some people will just have to coinflip and see if they can record with Plays or not.

Massive FPS issues in League of Legends. I have no idea why my FPS is so terrible. A friend of mine has ReplaysTV and his FPS is fine. I need steps on what to do to fix this. I used PlaysTV before and my FPS was fine. Idk what happened :(

So I have verified that I do have Plays 3.0.0 installed. Whenever I go to run the RePlaysTV-Installer.exe, the log stops after it has completed running the npm install command and will do nothing after (I have given it 1 hour to make sure it wasn't just running slowly). I DO have node.js/npm on my PC locally.

As of 3.0.2, the shared folder functionality only uploads to a shared folder by essentially drag and dropping into a mounted network drive (or any folder/directory really).
A proper SMB would be nice to do but I had trouble implementing one. Anyone is free to help on this feature.

After my latest Windows update this LocalBridge.exe error keeps popping up referring to a supposedly Plays.Tv file.

I tried reinstalling plays.tv and replays.tv but it didn't help. The program is running but not recording anything when this error appears. It throws several error messages at once, layered one atop the other.

I often quickly identify which video is which by seeing the game and length of the video, like "right, this one's the LoL one that last 1m27". So it would be really great to have video lengths in the bottom right corner, like they used to have in the Plays.tv client. If not there, at least adding them under the date of the video would be really nice.

Something that plays.tv didn't do. RePlaysTV deletes not only ur recording but ur clips as well, something the original plays didnt do.

Space wise, keeping a 10 second clip over a 2 hour recording is fine, I don't want replays to delete the highlights/clips made, just the big recordings automatically, plays.tv never did this so please fix this bug in the next update!

Recently, I don't know what happened, it was working well, until I run into a problem where I couldn't record manually nor automatically, plus I can't save any play I want, I tried to free some space even though I had enough, I have now 96GB and still the problem is the same, please help and always thank you for the great effort!

since few days I've got some issue with recorded files. Trough all records I've got only sound and black screen, nothing else. I didnt change anything in my settings.

Hi! I need a default audio output device put if possible. I know there is one for the microphone (input) but none for the output and I need that to record specific audio track rather than another. Thanks

Running the installer gets to a point where it freezes (does nothing for 60+ minutes), very similar to a Feb bug with npm installer, where it was suggested to run "npm uninstall -g yarn" from the nodejs - portable. Have done this with no result.
