So apparently now looks for the /tmp/ directory which doesn't exist on windows. Maybe selecting paths based on os version would be better.

As the title says

When someone tries to use the program inside git-scm the program is somewhat stuck and when it's exited it doens't modify the used note keys and that leads that the same note is permanently blocked until the %TEMP% folder is cleaned
