DumpsterDiving is a mod for Grand Theft Auto V that allows you to loot almost any Dumpster in the game world for useful items... or trash... or money. It was inspired by the Dumpster Diving/Looting mechanic from Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Please note that you need to install PlayerCompanion and LemonUI for DumpsterDiving to work.

Open the compressed file with 7zip or WinRar and drag and drop all the files into your scripts directory.

Then, open the INSTALL MANUALLY folder and copy the YTD file to mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf with OpenIV or CodeWalker.

1. Find a Dumpster in the game map
2. Go to the marker that appeared in the front of the dumpster
3. Press the interact button/key to loot that Dumpster
4. You get an item from the Dumpster, this can be
   • Money: Added to your wallet
   • Items: Added to your PlayerCompanion Inventory
   • Weapons: Added to your weapon Inventory
