RDW App for Homey

RDW Logo

This Homey app allows seamless integration with the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW). Easily access open data for Dutch registered vehicles by performing a license plate lookup, all conveniently integrated into your Homey environment.

Features

  • License Plate Lookup: Retrieve detailed information about Dutch registered vehicles using their license plate and add this as a device in Homey.
  • Flow Triggers: Receive timely reminders and alerts, such as upcoming general periodic inspections (APK).

Installation

  1. Open the Homey app.
  2. Go to "Apps" and select "+".
  3. Search for "RDW" and install the app.

Usage

  1. Add a new device in Homey.
  2. Select the "RDW" app and the "Vehicle" device
  3. Enter your license plate number and click "Next".
  4. Optionally add flows for additional reminder about APK expiration dates.
