The UI does not fit the purpose anymore. Focus on analysis, remove prominent data input.

Users need to understand what do do when using a personal CRM for the first time.

As a user, I would prefer if contacts get created with a proper name.

Option 1: Emails

Emails contain three types of email address formats:

• [email protected]
• peter [email protected]
• Pan, Peter [email protected]

Also: extraction of "Peter Pan" from [email protected].

Option 2: Google People API

Maybe already pre-filled data?

Would you consider adding a license to this repository to specify under which terms this code can be used or if it's possible to consider adding a permissive license?

Instead of implicit reminders, there should be functionality to generate (and thus send) reminders.

As a developer, i want to fetch all interactions and create UI elements depending on the specific interaction type. With django's default ORM, this does not work as expected, e.g.

Interaction.objects.all()

returns actual Interaction objects and not the actual subtype.

Currently email and calendar functionality is deeply integrated into the sync_google command. If we want to add other email/calendar sources later, it's beneficial to separate generic email/calendar functionality and source-specific functionality.

As a user, I want to map email addresses to specific contacts, e.g. by assignment, merging of contacts, etc.

If a calendar event is planned, a reminder is not necessary.
