'sql_mode=only_full_group_by' is a default setting in the latest versions of MariaDB and MySQL.
please provide a link

In Mysql it is enabled by default ( https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/sql-mode.html#docs-body ) in MariaDB not ( https://mariadb.com/kb/en/sql-mode/#defaults ). But I think it is easy to fix...
@xerc Do you check the PR? Should I merge it?
