I am currently having trouble with installing this package. I wonder what could be the cause here?

package doesn't working in R version 4.3.1

Hello, I am tring to run the genderdata package in R (version 4.3.1)

I tried with:

#install.packages("devtools")

devtools::install_github("lmullen/genderdata")
Downloading GitHub repo lmullen/genderdata@HEAD
Error in utils::download.file(url, path, method = method, quiet = quiet, :
download from 'https://api.github.com/repos/lmullen/genderdata/tarball/HEAD' failed

and with:

#install.packages("remotes")
